The Thomas J. Volpe Global Business and Finance Lecture Series
More and more, today's American business environment is really a global environment. World trade is becoming truly international. The Thomas J. Volpe Lecture Series in Global Business and Finance is designed to prepare future business leaders here at St. Francis College to take advantage of new opportunities created by the global marketplace.
Guest speakers for this lecture series bring an international perspective to our students in a variety of fields; from business leaders to world leaders.
This lecture series is funded by a generous gift from Thomas J. Volpe. Thomas J. Volpe is former Senior Vice President of Financial Operations for The Interpublic Group of Companies, Inc. Currently he is Senior Advisor at Babcock & Brown, a global financial services firm. Tom serves as Chairman Emeritus of the St. Francis College Board of Trustees and also serves as a board member for two other nonprofit organizations. He is former president of the New York Chapter of Financial Executives International.
